In line with the incoming project developments in forestry, PT. Agrinergy Indonesia is now looking for Forestry Specialist – South East Asia to be stationed in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Major Responsibilities:
- Analysis of UNFCCC and Voluntary Market Policies on Forestry Carbon market especially REDD
- Identification of feasible Forestry Carbon projects
- Financial analyses of Forestry Carbon projects.
- Developing relationships with key Forestry Stakeholders
- Knowledge of CDM. Knowledge of REDD would be a plus.
- Proficient in Spoken & Written English
- Capability of working in a diverse multicultural environment with an
- international context
- Willingness to travel
- University degree in forestry (an advantage), ecology, environmental policy, environmental economics, or any other relevant discipline.
- Thesis or work experience relevant to Forestry Carbon Market.
- Experience with technical aspects such as carbon inventory analysis, PDDs, baseline and monitoring methodologies or forestry financial analysis is an advantage. Knowledge of ecosystem services in general is also advantageous.
