The Specialist will be responsible for providing forest management and verification services to support the sale and development of the market for SmartWood clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region, primarily with a focus on FSC, Forest Management, Controlled Wood, Carbon and Legality Verification services. S/he will also serve as Asia-Pacific Regional Office point person for forest management and verification services inquiries and issues.
Based: Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia

Qualifications:
- Degree, in Forestry, Natural Resource Management or related field required; Advanced degree preferred;
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in forestry or related field;
- Environmental management system auditor training experience preferred;
- Knowledge of SW Certification and/or FSC certification a plus;
- Experience in supervision, training and mentoring preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, TOEFL score record of 500 preferred;
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking skills and attention to detail;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with other MS Office applications;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia; other languages a plus; and
- Ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time.
